November 22, 2010

Swedish death metal masters DIABOLICAL have signed with Abyss Records for the worldwide release of their upcoming full-length album, "Ars Vitae". Due out in February 2011, The CD consists of 17 tracks of both new studio recordings produced earlier this year at Necromorbus Studio (WATAIN, UNANIMATED, DESTRÖYER 666) in Alvik, Sweden and previously unreleased recordings.

"It's an honour having a dedicated label like Abyss releasing the album over there. We are looking forward to that," comments guitarist Carl Stjärnlöv.

One track from the CD, "Eye", can be streamed in the YouTube clip below.

DIABOLICAL recently announced the addition of bassist Dan Darforth to the group's ranks.

The band released its third full-length CD, "The Gallery of Bleeding Art", in November 2008 via ViciSolum Productions. According to a press release, DIABOLICAL "are taking their innovative death metal a huge step further. They plunge the listener into the darkest corners of the human mind, bringing restrained aggression and cravings for vengeance to life in this masterpiece."
